On My Own of Michigan, Inc located in Troy Michigan, assists adults with intellectual developmental disabilities to become independent, self-sufficient, social and contributing citizens in their communities.
OU Cares
OU Cares is a program through Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. They are committed to improving the quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), their families, and our community by providing quality and comprehensive programming across the lifespan. OU Cares supports students with other disabilities as well. Most programs have a small fee but many scholarships are available.
Soul Studio
Soul Studio is an opportunity for student-artists to be introduced to a variety of traditional and contemporary art making processes. Staff will work with students to find materials and processes specific to their interests and sensibilities. In addition to creative exploration in the arts, we will also be facilitating opportunities for vocational training in traditional and new technologies

Michigan Career & Technical Institute (MCTI)
The mission of the Michigan Career & Technical Institute (MCTI) is to conduct vocational and technical training programs and provide supportive services needed to prepare Michigan citizens with disabilities for competitive employment. Students are admitted to this school through an application process.This program is available to students who are getting a Certificate of Completion or to students who are getting a diploma. Students must be connected to MRS to access MCTI.

Ready for Life Academy
Ready for Life Academy is a post-secondary educational experiences for college-aged individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities, in partnership with Hope College and Ferris State University. The curriculum used at RFLA focuses on transition skills to help students gain independence and job skills. Ready For Life Brochure
Western Michigan Autism Services Center
Western Michigan University’s Autism Services Center (ASC) provides transition support for autistic/neurodiverse college students and students who identify with needing additional support. Students are not required to have a formal diagnosis to work with the ASC. For students with documented disabilities, these services are beyond the reasonable accommodations provided by the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act and WMU’s Disability Services for Students. Support components include weekly one-on-one meetings with ASC staff, workshops, structured study times, organized social events, and increased communication between students and professors, staff, and parents/support system.
